Course Description

This practical course equips parents, teachers, education professionals, and advocates with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the special education diagnostic process and effectively support children with disabilities. Participants will gain a clear understanding of educational needs assessments, Individualised Education Programme (IEP) development, documentation, and collaborative partnerships between families and schools. The course also explores legal rights, effective advocacy, communication strategies, and conflict resolution within special education settings.
